Twice now, I got caught in the rain-
no umbrella, no galoshes, no head wear.

Darting for cover, shuddering for thunder,
A tremendous laughter overtakes me, like the storm itself.

Trying out branches for shelter, I hug myself in shivers.
I laugh out loud, feeling romantic and too friendly.

I want to meet eyes and share
My silly, drenched grin.
