My advice to myself

Set a match
to what you think you know;
to what you’ve been told all your life.

Smash like glass those paradigms
that shaped you in the past,
then pick up only those pieces that feel right-
just those that fit comfortably inside you-
take only what delights you-
the rest, sweep away with a broom.

They’re just bones that don’t serve you;
that derail and betray you;
that pull you from your true path…

Let go and let grow, my Friend:
your time, your freedom at last.
